Project copy does not contain wiki content

Added by Scott Tearle about 14 years ago

When I create a project template it has a pre-constructed wiki with table to fill out. This does not come across to a copy, although a wiki is available if I check it. Is this by design or did I miss something?

I think a project copy will only copy the project configuration, not the contents.

Hi Felix,

Then what's the point? Configuration takes less than a few minutes. It's the preset content that usually takes a lot of time. We have over 100 projects and we have to copy->paste->edit every time. I think we will have to find a way to add a content option to copy.

Rats :) I was hoping for a little more.

Ok, just tried it to make sure, and you are right, there are options to copy content (in fact you can even selectively copy only tickets, or wiki pages, or …). The only thing I was missing from the wiki were parent-child relationships for the pages. While this is a bug, that could also explain why you think you are missing some things. What version of redmine are you using?
