Any ongoing Wiki development?

Hi,

I'm new to Redmine and using it via a hosting provider.

I've found the wiki lacking in some regards and was wondering if there is any active dev in this area. Some of the features I'm interested in have already been requested (such as this one) but don't appear to get any traction or response. (This example is 2 years old and still listed as "New".)

That question would have been good in the DEV forum but anyway, the response would have been quite the same I imagine:
IMHO that's because the dev team is really small. The developers strive to make redmine a all around useful product. Being open source, a lot of work is done in their spare time without financial benefits. The overall top priority is to fix bugs, should they be reproducible.

There are feature requests even older than #3547, mostly due to the above mentioned fact that rails devs are scarce...
That said, we're always happy to receive patches :-)
