Name already taken in custom fields

Hi,

I have a custom field set as a list with different data depending on what project it belongs to.
I.e.: the field Location would have Geneva, Paris, Amsterdam for one project and Zurich, London and Dubai for another.

It appears that I cannot create 2 customs fields with an identical name even if they are assigned to different projects. Is this something that could be changed?

Unfortunately no, this is not possible. My personal workaround is to create custom fields with a prefix depending on the target project.
