[Textile] Question

Added by Charles McKnight about 15 years ago

Hi All,

I need to create colored text in my Redmine wiki. I've read a number of things about Textile being hacked up to prevent XSS attacks. Is there another way to accomplish colored text or am I stuck with black and white text?

Cheers!

Charles

Hi Charles,

I would like also to know how is possible to enable colored text in textile. I tried to change the
self.filter_styles=true to self.filter_styles=false in formatter.rb but I still cannot use extended formatting.

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Hi Charles,

the formatting was not appearing in my last comment, so it did not make so much sense...

This is the page with that explain the formatting that can be used in textile (which is the engine beside the redmine wiki)

http://hobix.com/textile/

On my installation of redmine I changed the:

self.filter_styles=true

to

self.filter_styles=false

in the file formatter.rb

and now I can use the extended formatting.

Please try this and let me know if this is answering your question.
