Contributing to the Redmine Community

Hi, I am an experienced Rails Developer with 4 years of working with the technology. I'm looking for a community to contribute to, can someone please give me some direction on how to get started?

Hello, Thank you for offering help. I am a supporter of Redmine and have been helping the development for years.

There are a lot of things to do here.

  • Writing a patch that implements the feature you want
  • Reviewing patches posted by someone. This will be a great help to the project
  • Checking old issues. Writing patches for the issues or commenting that the issue can be closed are really helpful
  • Communicating with uses
