Adding watchers / Group Role: Issues Created by or assigned to the user

Dear all,

we have problems regarding adding watchers to tickets.
We created a role with Issues visibility: "Issues Created or assigned to the user".

How can these people be added as watcher in redmine?

Currently, only people having right: "All non private issues" can be added, why?

Hi Stefan,

in this case the issue visibilty "Issues Created or assigned to the user" does not apply, as a watcher did not create the ticket and also he is not assigned to the ticket.
You need to update the issue visibilty rights with a plugin. With this, you have a third option within issue visibility: "created, assigned or watched."

You can try this one, nevertheless it depends on your Redmine Version.
