"Author" is not in there so that is my question.

Oh... now I see this, sorry I overlooked it. For the query model it didn't define author as groupable, and I can see how it become useful in project management.

I think I can modify the query model with my plugin extention mentioned in http://www.redmine.org/boards/3/topics/14795 and you can be the first one to put suggestion outside of my works :D

I am solving some design problem atm, but for your feature it should be available in beta version (can be done before wed if I have time)
