Move to new project - status unavailable

I've found this a few times and haven't come across a good resolution.

If I transfer a task into a new project, sometimes it seems that the "assigned to" is not available to me, even though I have full rights to the entire system and project, and "status" is missing 'closed' and 'resolved', even though they are available in the project.

Anyone else had such problems?

Nevermind - found the problem - it was with security left over.
