calculation of week numbers

Hi all,
is it possible to calculate week numbers according DIN 1355/ISO 8601?

my current Redmine installation is generating other week numbers for 2013 as expected in european area.
First calendar week of 2013 starts at 07.01.2013, but according to ISO 8601 it should start already 31.12.2012.

Is this calculation somewhere configurable?
