How to save data on mircrosoft azure storage?

Added by amit rishi about 6 years ago

Hi, I am a newbie on Redmine. I have successfully installed redmine on aws-machine. Now I want to store my data in Microsoft Azure storage. This data contains files like pdf, images that are part of some issues.

I didn't find a way to implement this thing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Disclaimer: I hadn't heard of Microsoft Azure Storage until I saw your post.

The first link appears to give the steps needed to mount the storage as a local volume which you could reference (attachments_storage_path) in your Redmine configuration. Note well the warnings however mentioned there and on the second link.

Thanks, Deoren. I don't want to store any data on my machine. Redmine should upload data to Azure server and fetch from there whenever needed.

Amit Pitre rishi,

The approach mentioned in the links above creates a mount point that serves as a read-write volume in place of standard storage. However, you are still right as temporary space in /tmp is needed between local writes and then follow-up uploads to Azure Storage.

Good luck with your research.
