How to send email when responding to a ticket

Added by Dan Burchfield over 4 years ago

Hello,

I have setup Redmine with email support where it checks a mailbox for new mail and creates a case from it. The sender is a user in Redmine so I can see that they sent the email and created the ticket. However, when I make a change to the ticket in Redmine, there is no response email sent to the original sender. The only email sent are to the project members. Redmine is responding and sending emails like it is suppose to. Only no email is sent to the person that created the ticket. Is there a way to make that happen?

This command does not produce any results.

Does anyone know what I should do about this?

You can specify it somehow in your account settings. If you uncheck the option I don't want to be notified of changes I make myself you also get an email on issue creation.
