Hide issues/releases from certain roles?

Hi all,
is it possible to make individual issues and releases visible only for certain roles or groups? I know that this works on a project level...

Nope. There is this issue though. Not in the core yet.

Thanks a lot, Brad! The separation between internal and external users is exactly what I am interested in.
