Prevent a group from getting assigned to issues

Hi,

I have a group with MANY people in it. This group is assigned with a role "Issues can be assigned to users with this role" to a project.
And that is correct - I want to assign issues to single users in this group.

Sometimes a person accidently assignes an issue to this huge group - and this results in a massive spam wave ;-)

Is it somehow possible to prevent a specific group to get issues assigned to it?

Hi, I think the only way is to give the role in project to every single person and not to the group.
