XCache breaks mod_rewrite

I noticed that any page that uses mod_rewrite will not display.
When i go to a page with a mod_rewrite name i get the following:
Not Found
The requested URL /example.php was not found on this server.
Yet, when i disable mod_rewrite - the page loads fine.
Any idea why it's doing this?
P.S I'm using the latest version of Apache.
Nevermind, i figure out i had apache misconfigured.
