graph of dependencies between version

Hi all,
It should be great if a dependency graph of the versions of the same project can be displayed from the roadmap view or from the project overview. It would help to understand (visually) how the project has evolved since its beginning.It should be great also if this dependency between version could be done across projects, to show that:
- the version of one project is composed by specific version of other (sub)project
- the version of one project is used by specific version of other (upper-level)project
(where a project maps 1-to-1 with a component)
What do you think of such a feature ? Do you think is it feasible via a plugin or it should be add in the trunk ?
