Added by Lincoln Coe over 14 years ago

Hello,

Is it possible to have release notes generated that for a version and it includes everything that was addressed in it?

You want the Changelog, it's linked to from the sidebar on the issues list and is easy to miss. Here's Redmine's

I just updated to 0.9.0 and I have lost the changelog. what could have gone wrong? I did have to remove a bunch of my plugins since the upgrade wouls just not run with them installed, and I did not put them back since i was not using them much. My understanding was that the changelog was built in.

This is all I get on the sidebar now:
  • View all issues
  • Summary
  • Calendar
  • Gantt
  • Issues
  • Filters

here is my env settings:

The changelog view has been removed from 0.9 as per r3162. The same information is available through the roadmap.

should have chimes in sooner.

We actually used both, with our internal folks seeing the roadmap which included some trackers that we did not include in the change log for customers. it was a convenince thing more than anyhting, but at least I know my installation is not bad.

thanks.

In fact, release notes somewhat different from roadmap or changelog.
Release notes should contain extended information about what was introduced with each ticket with the summary of changes (i.e. one line is not enough).
