How do you speed up the repository updated in redmine.

Added by Chris McKee over 14 years ago

I have redmine (current) installed and several projects linked to their own SVN repo; the changes db table is at 6.8mb and the index length at 1.4mb; by default redmine installs all the tables etc so I assume theyre correct; and its a Bitnami stack so it should be mostly setup.

When I "update" the repo by clicking repository in redmine the whole server freezes as it updates, and it can take its sweet time. Does anyone know a way of speeding this up?

You can turn off the Autofetch commits and have Redmine load the changes in the background. FAQ
