Can't login with IE8

Dear everyone,
When I try to login to my local Redmine using IE8 it does not work. Th elogin fields clear and nothing happens at all. If I enter the wrong password or username I get the red warning box but in this case there is nothing. Has anyone else experienced this before?

No such problems with any of Explorers for Redmine 0.8.
