DMSF batch copy/move

Added by Jason Shen almost 12 years ago

Has anyone been able to implement a batch copy/move feature for the DMSF plugin?

It is a fantastic plugin, it would be even better if users were able to take selected files in a folder and move/copy them all at once.

If anyone has any leads on this I would very much appreciate some suggestions or tips. Thanks!

Hi Justin,

At present it is possible to move folders around even between projects - the webdav extends this functionality further by having the ability to rename etc on the fly also (It would also be perfectly possible to move items as needed that way). That being said, its only available in 1.4.2 onwards (Redmine 2.0 fork found at https://github.com/danmunn/redmine_dmsf). Feel free to raise requests like this as an issue as I've already been working on a number of functionalities that have been historically requested - 1.4.4 (released today) already saw inheritable locking (folder locking essentially), functional basic webdav support (read, write, move, copy, lock etc) and more. Feel free to raise requests for functionality :).

Best Regards,
Dan
