Cannot update subject line of task. More button fails to show options

Description
I'm trying to update the subject line for an issue. I select update, and then select the more link next to "Change Properties"
When I press this link, the page does nothing. I am logged on as administrator, and I'm running Redmine 1.2.2
I urgently need to update a batch of issues for a project.
