I wanted to have two instances of redmine and simply copied the directory. I called
rake generate_secret_token
in both instances, but it turned out, that i was automatically logged in into both instances. This was because the secret.rb file was not updated during regeneration, because the file already exists! There should at least be a warning or error message if the generation failed.
