hi, folks
as both github and gitlab can render the markup language (e.g. markdown, textile, etc.), and even better, they content of the markup file is displayed directly under the repo file list.
so it would be nice to have this github/gitlab like render, see attached screenshot

Implemented by #29752 for Redmine 5.0.0.
and even better, they content of the markup file is displayed directly under the repo file list.
The same feature is being tracked as #12297.
