So far only foobar2000 is only open source media player that supports playback of either Dvd-audio and/or SACD.

See if it is possible to port this plugin(link below)to be used with xbmc4xbox v3.2.1, if the code is GPL compliant.

Code needs to be implemented into DVDPlayer.(if need be, create a new media player "HRAudio" or Hi-Resolution audio to be used along side PAPlayer) Xbox may not have enough memory to patch this code into DVDPalyer.

I think the feature my require an on off ticker displayed in system\video\playback

Needs to open the "audio_ts" folder on dvd audio discs.

If possible alow both internal decoding of the audio stream, and S/PDIF datastream pass-through for bitstream decoding via home AVR.(xbox may not have enough resources to allow internal decoding to be sent via RCA analogue out)

Test with softmodded xbox to ensure portability.

Probably needs to support SACD playback too.
