Description

When I update an issue, Redmine instantly sends me and all of the other watchers an email. It would be nice if Redmine would only send an email to everyone else and not send me one. Since I am the one who updated the issue, I don't need to be notified that I updated the issue. However, if anyone else updates the issue, I should be notified.

  • Resolution set to Invalid

This is already implemented. Goto "My account" -> "Email notifications" box and select the "I don't want to be notified of changes that I make myself" setting.

Awesome. I looked all over the admin page and never thought to look at my settings page. Thanks. Should this be enabled by default instead of the other way around?

This is the coded behavior. Otherwise ppl can miss updates while they expect to be notified about them.
