Is installing from a source checkout easier to upgrade than a stable release?

Description
Greetings - the Redmine Download page http://www.redmine.org/projects/redmine/wiki/Download#Latest-source-code says that checking out the source is the preferred way to get Redmine if you want to benefit from the latest improvements and be able to upgrade easily.
Does that somehow imply that it is easier to be able to upgrade using the source checkout as compared to doing an installation from a stable release?

Thanks Maeda san!
However, this is actually a request for modifying/editing/corresponding the corresponding content on Download page to reflect what is correct.
Perhaps the category should have been Documentation?
Thanks again for your kind support.

I am very sorry, I overlooked what you really meant due to my poor ability to read English.
Dear Maeda san,
I am sorry - the error was mine. I should have set the category to Documentation.
Thanks!
