merge status changes and comments, which are very close to each other

I often submit a comment to a redmine issue and then remember that I forgot to set some other field (say, version number). have to add another comment to the issue and this pollutes the comments history - lots of status updates there.
if I submit 2-3-4-.. comments (or change several fields in separate "update" operations) to an issue within say ... 1 minute? 3 minutes? I'd prefer to see that as 1 change in the history, not 2-3-4....

Maybe you can try this: http://www.redmine.org/boards/3/topics/10106. You'll have two tabs for comments; one shows the whole changelog, another - only updates with comments.
