Default assign is a Redmine plugin that allows you to define a default person for new tickets to be assigned to. It allows you to specify a global default as well as per project defaults.

Installation notes

1. Follow the Redmine plugin installation steps at the Redmine Wiki (http://www.redmine.org/wiki/redmine/Plugins).
2. Make sure you did the rake redmine:plugins:migrate RAILS_ENV=production step from above.
3. Restart your Redmine web servers (e.g. mongrel, thin, mod_rails).

Tested with Redmine 2.6. Probably works with older Redmine versions too.

Plugin worked very well, but this became core functionality with Redmine 3.4 now.

With the help of this plugin 'Issues assigned to me' section on 'My Page' becomes useful form me. It contains all new issues of my projects, and it does not contain issues of other projects not related to me.
