Start, pause and stop a timer on an issue from the Redmine top menu, then log the spent time. A Redmine 7 compatible fork of the time_logger plugin.
Based on the original plugin by Jérémie Delaitre, Jim McAleer and speedy32129 and on the Redmine 4/5 version by red-soft-ru (Dmitry Makurin). License: GNU GPL v2 or later.
Features¶
- Start a time logger from an issue page or from the issue context menu
- Pause, resume and stop it from the top menu bar, or from the flyout menu on narrow screens
- On stop, the spent time is prefilled in the issue edit form or in a new time entry
- A list of your running time loggers and, with permission, those of other users
- Optional issue status transition when a time logger is started
Installation notes
cd redmine/plugins git clone https://github.com/midnightdim/time_logger.git cd .. bundle exec rails redmine:plugins:migrate RAILS_ENV=production NAME=time_logger
Restart Redmine, give the Log spent time permission to the roles that should use the time logger, and enable the Time tracking module in the projects.
