In Redmine when you add roles, issue statuses, enumerations, ... you can only add them in one language, this plugin overloads this limitation.

This plugin allows to define customizable locales in any language for these items:
  • Roles.
  • Trackers (issues types).
  • Issue statuses.
  • Custom fields.
  • Enumerations.

Once installed, go to Administration, Extensions and click on Configuration link on this plugin.

Installation notes

Steps:
  1. Download last version from https://redmine.ociotec.com/projects/localizable/files.
  2. Unzip on your Redmine folder /plugins.
  3. Rename the folder from localizable.x.y.z to localizable.
  4. No migration is needed.
  5. Restart you Redmine.

Great plugin. THX.

There is just one issue if language of the user is set to "auto" = Browser language. This does not work.

So far it works great with redmine 2.6.1, no issues yet and all fields, roles and statuses are translated.

It seems that the folder renaming should point to 'localizable', not 'advanced_roadmap'.

So step 3 would become:

3. Rename the folder from localizable.x.y.z to localizable.

Very useful plugin, works with 2.4.4 and 2.5.1
Upd. 06.2014: Use this plugin carefully with MS Project EI plugin. The first one causes export/import fault if native redmine language differs from current user setting.

DONT Rename the folder from localizable.x.y.z to advanced_roadmap.
