Database locks (?) in 0.9.6 with Postgres 8.4

Hello together,

I'm not sure whether we are the only ones experiencing some strange locking behaviour...

Often (say when you work for half an hour) updateing/loading etc. tickets does not work anymore, and the Redmine server has to be restarted - looks like DB-lock not being freed...

Any experiences / suggestions (apart from upgrading - I'm not the Admin at our site...)

I'd suspect a problem with either the DB config or the pg connector, I can't think of a scenario in which this would come from the app itself.
