Create and manage a source code repository in Redmine

Hello,

I'm a newbie in the Redmine community and have an issue. Before to post it in the request tracker, I want to submit it to you : maybe my request was already submited?

I want to create a source code repository (svn, bzr, git, ...) and define people able to read and write in the repository. Persons will be a registred user of my Redmine website, and they will use their website password to authenticate them. All the administration part of create and management of the rep should be done from the Redmine website.

I think it could be a good plugin request, or maybe just a feature request.

There's some automation possible for subversion repositories, have a look at the advanced subversion integration howto, other than that, I think there's not much else possible. I seem to remember reposman.rb (from the above howto) is also able to handle the creation of git repositories in current trunk, or any kind of repository as long as you provide the right commands, but you'll still only be able to create one type of repository automatically.
