Access control and authorization

Hi,

I hope someone can help me. I have redmine up and running on Gentoo box. In local subnet it works more then fine. I have request that all external request for redmine asks for credentials and local requests don't. I know how to set it up on apache, but settings doesn't work for redmine. Pls can you point me where to look for solutions. If I understood it right redmine.pm file is for managing public or non public content on redmine, but I need to ask for credentials for public content on redmine if users are not on my local subnet. Thank you.

Redmine.pm is only to control access to svn repositories. Redmine manages access to its HTML interface interface itself, and there is no possibility to make authorization or authentication dependent on the requester's net or subnet, sorry.

thank you for reply. So I need to come up with different solution to manage users access according from what subnet they came from. Thank you again.
