Email from inside the issue

Is there a way to email from an issue within Redmine?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

- I don't mean an email gets turned into an issue, I mean how to email from an issue.

Dear Michel

If you activate the email notification, each update of an issue will be send by redmine to all members involved in the project.

Jerome, Is there a way to email it right from the issue to non-members who will never see the site?

in that case, I m afraid no without a plugin. Maybe with this plugin: [[http://redminecrm.com/pages/main]]

if you create a contact entry for your customer, I think the plugin will email the ticket to him.

I will test on my server if you want.

Jan, no. I don't want to CC the issue. Just the attachment on the issue. Do you know if that's possible with any plugin?

I am also looking for something similar requirement, i also dont want to just include cc, but just wanted to try out the plugin. The plugin seems too old and it fails.

No I have installed plugin CRM light version, which allows to create contact company entry and to create on it contact people (related to an email adress).
I also installed Helpdesk plugin, which allow to attach an issue to a contact.

On my server I have not activated the feature of sending the issue update to the contact and what I don't know is does it send a notification if the contact is not also a member of the project.

Maybe you can read their wiki or email the developper. I have very few times to test this week so I don't promise you :)

Thanks for the plugin, it seems cool will try to test it on 2.3.
