Hello Stefano,

Where are you running it from in your system? Are there any spaces or non-alphanumeric characters in the path? If so, these might cause issues.

Cheers,

Andrew

i'm running windows server 2008 r2 (it's different from windows server 2008) and the path where redmine is located is:

C:\inetpub\wwwroot\redmine

What SQL Database are you using? MSSQL, MySQL? Do you have Cygwin installed, or are you running from the MS Command Prompt?

You might want to give this a try, to run the MS Command Prompt in 32-bit Mode - it's worth a shot, especially, since there does not appear to be a Win64 version of Ruby 1.8.6.

Unfortunately, I don't have access to a 2008 R2 box to try it on.

Cheers,

Andrew

Actually, I did some more digging, and I think the issue you have may be addressed in this topic.

After reading the above mentioned post, I would try mysql 5.0.

Good luck.
