can't attach images to issues

Hello,
i get this error when i attach files to issues:
Internal error

An error occurred on the page you were trying to access.
If you continue to experience problems please contact your redMine administrator for assistance.

what might be wrong ?

i dont have scripts/about in my redmine install folder i think it was originally installed using svn
