Documentation of Redmine

Hi,

can someone point me to a page where the code of redmine (at least architecture, interactions with templates, ...) is documented ? I'd like to see if I can contribute to issue #1259 and http://www.redmine.org/boards/2/topics/show/888 !

The only real docs are the source. If you know Ruby on Rails you can get an idea of interactions but even then it can be difficult (yes, I'm talking about you query.rb....)

That said, I've spent a lot of time lately hacking on the core so if you have a specific question feel free to ask.

Can you give me a tip on where the text formatting is processed to display the text '''version:"version name"''' as a link to the appropriated version ?
