Activity page / feed not updating with recent changesets until repository page is viewed

Hi, installed redmine yesterday, and very impressed so far after being a trac user for a couple of years.

One issue I've noticed though is that the activity page (projects/myproject/activity) does not appear to update with the changsets from the repo unless someone manually browses the repository page (projects/myproject/repository).

Should the activity page automatically pick up these changes from the repo, or does it require a hook?
