The application asks you to initially enter your redmine path along with the API key where you can get it from your redmine by clicking on (My Account) -> Show API Key.

Click on start to start working on a project, if you go inactive for 30 seconds the software will automatically pause until you resume back working. You don't have to click pause or anything, the application is smart enough to do so.

Once you finish you submit the time log either on a specific project or specific task. To see your project ID click on the project ID link on the bottom and it will show you a list of projects with the ID of each one.

Installation notes

Download the zip file, extract the content and install.
This tool work on WINDOWS platform. You may try it on linux using wine but I haven't tried it yet. It may work fine.

Very usefull plugin - but on github there is a fork with actual version - https://github.com/mburgknap/Redmine-Time-Log

I agree, plugin is great, but I can't use it.
After correct installation Win8 and Win7, and configure settings: url to redmine, and key api I have this information:http://zettabajt.pl/~kfranckiewicz/Redmine%20time%20log/redmine-time-log-stop-working.png

amazing plugin, but there is problem with Cyrillic comments - in redmine 2.3.x they are look like "???????? ?????? ?????". Could you fix it?
