Description

If you drop-down the field list for row filtering criteria in issues list view, it is not sorted.

This eben makes sense if plugin or user defined fields extend this list more.

Shoudd be easy but valuable improvement
Tx!

Hmm, I don't know if sorting this list alphabetically would be the best way to go... Although it can function as a start to something better...

Well alternatively there could be an admin setting where order can be configured gloably. More comfigurable would be optionally change that per project. Ther could be a button which can sort the list alpabetically, so admin don't have to to do that if he wants alpabetically order. So he just push the button and the click "save order".

It's certainly not ideal as it is now but I like having the Tracker filter at the very top.

Sorting by sort order defined in Admin screen is implemented per Patch #5025 sort custom fields by configured display order in filters listbox.

It would be great to have a JavaScript toggle to sort alphabetically.
