Redmine: Redmine 2.5.0 and 2.4.4 released (4 comments)

Added by Jean-Philippe Lang about 12 years ago

Redmine 2.5.0 is a new feature release available for download.

It brings many improvements to custom fields formats: text formatting support, HTTP link support, fine-grained selection for user and version custom fields based on roles and version status. The custom field format API was fully rewritten, so if you're running some plugins that deal with it (eg. that adds non standard field formats), you'll have to update them before upgrading. This version also introduces experimental support for Markdown formatting, a popular text formatting syntax. You can review the list of all changes in the Changelog.

Redmine 2.4.4 is a maintenance release that fixes a few defects and upgrades Rails to 3.2.17.

Redmine: Redmine 2.4.1 maintenance release (REST API)

Added by Jean-Philippe Lang over 12 years ago

Redmine 2.4.1 fixes the errors that occur on non-GET requests when using the REST API with Redmine 2.4.0. If you're not using the REST API, upgrading to this new version is not needed.

Unlike all previous releases, this one is not available on Rubyforge. You'll find it exclusively in the Download section.

You can review all the changes in the Changelog. Redmine 2.2.4 is a maintenance release for the 2.2.x branch that fixes a few issues. Redmine 2.3.0 and 2.2.4 are upgraded to Rails 3.2.13 which fixes several security vulnerabilities. Upgrading as soon as possible is recommended.
