Redmine Locale Integer Delimiter¶

A small Redmine plugin that displays integers with the thousands delimiter of the user's language.

Introduction¶

Redmine offers almost everything we need out of the box. We only had to extend it a little for our internal needs, and this plugin was the result.

Features¶

Integer values, such as integer custom fields, are shown with the thousands delimiter of the current user's language, e.g. 9.999 in German or 9,999 in English.

Only the display is affected. Stored values and input fields stay unchanged.

Installation¶

1. Clone the plugin into the plugins directory of your Redmine installation. The directory name must be locale_integer_delimiter, as it has to match the plugin ID.
2. Restart Redmine.

cd /path/to/redmine/plugins
git clone https://github.com/ablida/locale_integer_delimiter.git

Alternatively, download the repository as a ZIP and extract it to plugins/locale_integer_delimiter.

No database migrations are required. More information on installing Redmine plugins: Redmine Plugins

Usage¶

No configuration is needed. After the restart, integers are displayed with the delimiter of each user's language.

Uninstallation¶

Remove the plugins/locale_integer_delimiter directory and restart Redmine.
