Users have long requested this feature. You can see #988, #3693 and #5571.

The proposed patch adds the new feature while keeps compatibility with the current behavior. I think there is no problem to merge the patch. Setting the target version to 4.1.0.

But I found that the patch 0002-adds-documentation-for-12-issue-linking-syntax.patch does not update the following help files. Could you update the patch? I confirmed that the corresponding files on Planio should also be updated :)
